So the story is simple and easy to tell. Baltimore received an unexpected hurricane like storm . We lost all our power for 5 days, after day three i gave up and we went to stay with family in New York. I am very thankful we only lost power. My neighbor had a tree come through her roof and next to them a telephone pole split in half and went right
through their car. We are just now settling back in and my town is starting to look normal again. Grocery stores have reopened and im slowly restocking my fridge and freezer. Camp mommy has continued in full force. When i come home i literally crash and hope that dinner makes itself. Camp mommy has been so much fun and so exhausting wrapped into one ball. I do have to admit that i am sucking up as much of this time with my kids as i can, and my face falling flat into my pillow each night is well worth it. Here are some pics from New York, 4th of July and other summer fun. Now i must go to bed my pillow is calling my name in a muffled sleepy whisper, besides i need my rest we are going to the beach tomorrow. I hope all of you are enjoying your summer.

Oy. I lost power too due to a storm, and a tree smashed the rear window of my car. Baruch Hashem that's the worst that happened. Hoping all is well!
My daughter only has a 3-week break between the end of this gan and her new gan startign on August 27th. I was dreading it but the more I read your posts about camp mummy, the more you are inspiring me. Thank you.

We miss you, Charles and the kids so much! Once I finish my certification, we plan to move from here. Seems that's what everyone is doing. We are seeking a Jewish community that has a lot to offer, in addition to a shul, easy kosher shopping, kosher certified restaurants, etc. Also I am looking for a Bais Yaakov in which to teach. We are tired of living in isolation in this galus.

I usually shoot at Aperture priority the "A" and a fast shutter speed . I shot a bunch in a row on rapid shutter release, i think that was the secret most were blurry.
